About us

During the summer of 2021 we set out to visit every state park within driving distance of Dothan,  Alabama. Although Alabama may not be well known for outdoor activities, it's full of surprises. Although Kenzie is from Alabama, many of these places were new to her as well. Gavin is originally from County Meath, Ireland, so the deep South was an exciting adventure for him.

Over the course of 8,377 miles, we visited many towns and cities throughout the Southeast. We've hiked, camped, ran, and swam our way through this region.

Now the two are based out of County Wicklow, Ireland, the outdoor adventures continue. Wicklow is known as the "Garden of Ireland", it features a coastline, mountains, and so much history. With the Wicklow Mountains so near, we hope to explore and review many trails and activities nearby!
